Our cartridge heaters are available in different models ranging from Mighty Watt & Mighty Watt Plus Cartridge Heaters, High Temperature Fully Flexible & Flexible Leads Heater, Stainless Steel Armor Cable Lead Protection Heaters, Cartridge Immersion Heaters and Mighty Watt Cartridge Heaters.
Specifications - These heaters are available in two different watt densities, i.e. low watt density cartridge heaters and high watt density cartridge heaters as listed below:
- Low Watt Density
Coil is made up of helically wound coil of Nickel Chrome wire. This coil is passed through specially designed circular ceramic bricks in such a way that it is evenly stretched and forms stack of ceramic brick. This arrangement is housed in a tube of SS 304 sheath with maximum watt density of 4 watt / sq. cm - High Watt Density
Its construction is different from that of LWD and CH in only two aspects as enlisted below: 1. The space between ceramic bricks and the tube is filled with specially selected grain size of high purity Magnesium Oxide (MgO). This increases the thermal conductivity, dielectric strength and heater life of the heater.
2. The tube used to house the ceramic brick arrangement is made of SS 316 sheath or Incoloy 800, having the maximum watt density of 12 watt / sq. cms.
